More on the Deadly Trio

Monday, November 29th, 2010

Washington D.C.   More evidence is pouring in to substantiate the themes in our futuristic novel, Edge of Apocalypse. We have already written before about breaking news of a nuclear partnership between terror states Iran and North Korea which our fiction book portrays (see November 23rd post below). But beyond that, our novel not only describes the future repercussions of that malicious partnership, but we also add Russia into the mix, as an accomplice and co-conspirator with those two tyrannical nations. Our next novel in the “End” series, due for release next spring, expands on this Russia-Iran-North Korea axis of evil. But is such a trio of terror likely to develop? In our opinion, not only is it likely to exist in the future, but it looks now as if it is a present-day reality. The New York Times and others broke the news today, based on leaked government documents made public by WikiLeaks, that North Korea has already sold advanced missile technology to Iran, enabling that country to launch long-distance nuclear missiles to targets as far away as Europe. But where is the Russian link here? Consider two things: first, the missiles sold by North Korea to Iran were based on Russian-designed R-27 rockets which were clearly supplied by Russia and converted by the Korean dictatorship into its more deadly BM-25 missiles, which were then delivered to Iran. Second, Russia has already done deadly, weapons and nuclear material business separately with both Iran and North Korea. Even more intriguing is the fact that Russia is on both of the international negotiating teams (along with the USA) that are supposed to broker weapons agreements and “peace” deals with Iran and North Korea. Russia is in a perfect place to play “all sides” in this deadly game. Meanwhile the Obama Administration is ignoring this threat by Russia, urging the Senate to ratify the START nuke treaty with that troublesome nation to the north. In a press conference today, former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense Keith Payne pointed out that the Obama Administration is spreading false information in an attempt to quickly seal the deal with Russia, namely: (1) that the START treaty does not impede American anti-missile defense (Dr. Payne says not true, that Article 5 of the treaty does limit U.S. ability to create anti-missile shields); (2) that no person of defense expertise or “pedigree” is opposed to the treaty (during the press conference Dr. Payne ticked off a long list of defense experts who are in fact opposed to the treaty).  In Edge of Apocalypse we show what happens when America is lulled into a sloppy willingness to down-grade our defenses against our enemies. This all has prophetic implications. When we realize that America appears to be a non-entity in the prophecies of the Bible, one can only wonder if the reason has something to do with our lack of resolve in two areas: a foolish failure to guard our nation, and most important of all, an even more foolish failure to seek God’s protection. “Unless the Lord guards the city, the watchman keeps awake in vain.” Psalm 127:1(b).

Breaking News: Our “Edge” Novel is Not Just Nuclear Fiction

Tuesday, November 23rd, 2010

Washington DC   Two items of breaking news illustrate the timeliness of our futuristic novel, Edge of Apocalypse. First, the spectacle of North Korea lobbing missiles into South Korea today, and South Korea preparing to retaliate, including threats of a nuclear exchange, looks like the opening scenes from our fiction book, which was released in May of this year as part of the “End” series.  The North Korean attack was reportedly launched at the command of Kim Jong-un, the son of the current dictator of that country and the heir-apparent to take over the reins. In Edge of Apocalypse we postulate that Kim Jong-un orders a strike against New York City in retaliation for a border war with U.S.-backed South Korea. In the last twenty-four hours, South Korean defense minister Kim Tae-youn has suggested he may consider using tactical nuclear weapons against the North. Second, as the Obama Administration tries to make light of the startling new revelations that North Korea has secretly created thousands of nuclear centrifuges for enriching uranium which can be used for nuclear warheads, there is another shocking aspect of this story that is now breaking wide open. A South Korean news source confirms another premise that we established in our futuristic novel Edge of Apocalypse: that North Korea and Iran are partners in the nuclear terror department. In our novel (and in our upcoming sequel, Thunder of Heaven scheduled for release next spring) we describe North Korea and Iran working closely together to forge nuclear weapons that can be turned against its primary enemies: the United States and Israel. In the English version of the news source Chosun, it was reported on Monday, November 22 that Korean government officials have admitted that the nature of the North Korean nuclear facility “highly likely” indicates a nuclear connection between North Korea and Iran.  This was also seconded by Robert Carlin, an American nuclear expert who was an eye-witness to the facility and who broke the news within the last few days. Meanwhile the Obama Administration is trying to sell Congress on its START treaty with Russia, an agreement that Russia has openly stated should reduce American anti-missile defense capacity. If you are wondering why we should be highly suspicious of Russia, as well as Iran and North Korea, then you need to read Edge of Apocalypse and Thunder of Heaven.  But make sure you have your Bible in hand when you do!
