Brink of Chaos Now?

Thursday, December 8th, 2011

Washington, D.C.   As the Obama Administration shows its weakness toward Russia, the media continues to show its bare-knuckle bias against conservatives as the national election looms, and tech companies show us how they are developing new ways to snoop on average citizens, it all sounds very familiar to the two of us. It ought to. It is strikingly similar to our next futuristic novel in the End Series – this one called BRINK OF CHAOS, scheduled for release by Zondervan Publishing next year. Look at some of these breaking trends:

GLOBAL APPEASEMENT - Senator Mark Kirk is threatening to block President Obama’s nomination of Michael McFaul as ambassador to Russia for fear that without prior commitments to secrecy, he may be willing to divulge sensitive missile information to that nation. The Obama Administration pushed the START anti-missile treaty with Russia, something we have criticized previously in this blog as appeasing our potential enemy. Our concerns were confirmed recently when Russia took actions mocking the treaty by threatening to attack U.S. missile installations in Europe. In Brink of Chaos you will see the tragic outcome when America’s policies trade our national interests for bad global partnerships.

YOU ARE BEING WATCHED-  Manufactures of Google’s Android smart phones have been installing Carrier IQ software that will track the location of users and literally every keystroke they make according to an Android app developer and a media and technology writer. This tracking and data collection system is also being used on some BlackBerry and Nokia handsets. Meanwhile Apple has applied for a patent that would allow operators at remote locations to shut down at will the video function of iPhones being used by consumers. They contend it is to stop users from illegally video-taping concerts – but we can also envision all kinds of nafarious uses for this technology. In Brink of Chaos we illustrate the 1984 scenario that is fast approaching where the government, under the guise of increasing safety to citizens, uses technology to track all of us.

MEDIA BIAS- Our fiction series has projected the long-standing bias of the establishment media into the future – with devastating results. Need more evidence? How about this: MSNBC’s Chris Matthews, the liberal political pundit, confessed on November 25th that the press generally “leans” to “the left” in its coverage. Then there is CNN’s Don Lemon who blasted the idea of liberal media bias, yet turned around and ridiculed conservative former-candidate Herman Cain, saying the “pizza man” had to pull out of the race because he ”didn’t deliver.”  Lemon, by the way, recently showed his political bias by being a key-note speaker, along with an NBC reporter, at the National Gay and Lesbian Journalists Association. Lemon has publicly compared alleged discrimination against homosexuals in America to human rights atrocities in Libya, noting that we are now a “global society.”

We think when you read Brink of Chaos you’ll see our heart and mind on the importance of freedom in America, and what happens during a national election when a corrupt world view  begins to crack the foundations of our government, and how it could fit into Biblical prophecy.
